Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote North East Regional Insurance Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Check patient eligibility via payer portals and by calling insurance companies
- Report on and manage all authorization requirements for multi-practice organization
- Establish processes to ensure all authorizations are processed correctly
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Demonstrated organized, detail-oriented mindset with capability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to get into the weeds and not give up on a problem until it’s solved
- Computer proficiency working across multiple tech
- Experience in healthcare insurance eligibility and billing
- Experience with ABA, ST or OT
- Ability to prepare and submit insurance authorizations and re-authorizations
