Job Summary

A healthcare technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Nurse Auditor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Complete preliminary review of itemized bill
  • Review itemized bill for medical appropriateness and billing inconsistencies
  • Document in CMS all aspect of audits

Qualifications Include:

  • Location: Field
  • Active LPN or RN license
  • 2-5 years of auditing, claims, review and/or billing experience
  • Solid understanding of audit techniques
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Understanding of hospital coding and billing rules
