Job Summary

A business solutions company is seeking a Remote Nurse Auditor in Baltimore.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing thorough investigation of medical records to determine instances of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) within doctors' charts
  • Providing insight into common vulnerabilities, processes for insurance reimbursement, and known laws to identify issues with fraud, waste, and abuse
  • Documenting and drafting written reviews to members of internal staff and insurance providers

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's in Nursing Degree
  • Active RN (Registered Nurse) License required
  • 2+ years of experience in medical fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA)
  • Thorough understanding of medical coding, including ICD9, ICD10, Medicare/Medicare, CMS, HCPCS
