Job Summary
A hospital and healthcare system is seeking a Remote Nurse Call Center Telephone Triage Nurse in York.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Obtain history and gathers triage information
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and identifies primary care physician
- Relay triage information and facilitates communication between the provider and the patient
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Requires on site attendance at meetings and for training throughout the year
- At least 3 years of recent experience in acute care with focus on critical care, ED or med/surg
- RN license in Pennsylvania
- Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
