Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Nurse Care Manager I or II in Charlottesville.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring medically appropriate, high quality, cost effective care
- Conducting clinical assessment to develop goals that address individual needs
- Partnering with physician clinical reviewers and/or medical directors to interpret appropriateness of care
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3 years of acute care clinical experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s)
- Multi-state licensure is required if providing services in multiple states
- Knowledge of medical management process required for level II
- Ability to participate in or lead intradepartmental teams, projects, and initiative
