Job Summary

Remote Nurse Patient Access Specialist (RN/LPN), this full-time role serves as the primary contact for patients and providers, facilitating access to therapy through benefit investigations, insurance verification, and support for prior authorizations and patient assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance coverage for patients
• Provide education on self-injections and assist with patient support services
• Document patient interactions and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with 1 year post-registration experience
• 3-5+ years of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or insurance verification
• Understanding of payer coverage and reimbursement processes
• Experience in a contact center or patient support environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
