Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Nurse Practitioner in Akron.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Counseling and educating patients and families about benefits and programs available to help them live healthier lives
• Documenting items such as: appropriate chief complaint, all applicable diagnosis, past medical, family, and social history
• Coordinating of care with primary care providers, specialists and appropriate ancillary services

Qualifications Include:

• Travel to patients' homes and dialysis centers as well as travel for training/meetings
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certified by ANCC or AANP
• Current and unrestricted DEA certificate
• Must be proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by the work
• Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
