Job Summary
An institute for higher education needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Nursing Informatics Course Instructor I.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing expertise in assigned content area and maintains current knowledge in his/her field
- Fostering student learning through innovative teaching practices
- Offering proactive support and outreach to assigned students
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Doctorate, or terminal degree in a specific content area
- Must have an active and unencumbered nursing license
- Minimum of 3 years experience providing student support and instruction
- Must have a minimum of 3 years working in the nursing field
- Must demonstrate technological competency: Data entry, email and calendar, word process, and database programs
