Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Nutritional Consultant or Senior Nutritional Consultant .
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing nutritional counseling and patient education
- Ensuring patient understanding of nutritional goals and objectives
- Consulting with patients via telephone to initiate behavior change
Qualifications for this position include:
- Registered Dietician
- 3-5 years' managed care experience or experience counseling individuals regarding nutrition and diet
- Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Experience with telephonic outreach, motivational interviewing, patient education/counseling in nutrition
- Ability to develop training modules as needed for use by the Nurses and Health Educators
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
