Job Summary

A healthcare provider has a current position open for a Remote Observation Charge Review Specialist II in Frisco.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Understanding accepted principles, practices and tools relating to general healthcare billing, cost accounting and reimbursement
• Conducting charge capture and reconciliation, reporting, documentation and general compliance
• Recognizing, researching, and correcting charging/documentation discrepancies

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel
• At least 3 years experience in a healthcare environment with significant exposure to healthcare charging
• Proficient in CPT/HCPCS code assignment including infusion and injection hierarchy
• Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone
