Job Summary
A staffing company has an open position for a Remote Risk and Safety Consultant in the Oakland Area.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Routinely assisting clients with guidance on accident investigation protocols and loss analysis
- Providing onsite safety awareness training as mandated by regulations
- Providing clients with guidance with respect to their safety documentation needs
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Conducting onsite risk and safety evaluations at prospective client locations
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Risk Management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and web-based software applications
- Must have the ability to use the internet as a research tool
- 5-10 years of practical loss control experience
