Job Summary

A grocery and retail chain has an open position for a Remote Oncology Nurse Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Responding to patient inquiries regarding diseases for which the pharmacy is providing medication
  • Providing clinical support to patients related to medications not included in the disease program
  • Documenting interactions and encounters with patients to maintain accurate records

Position Requirements Include:

  • Travel to attend therapy specific events to support the business needs may be required in some jurisdictions
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in good standing status within respective employed state
  • 2+ years of experience in nursing
  • Strong communication skills; listening, writing and speaking
  • Knowledge of and skilled usage of Microsoft Office software and Internet research tools
