Job Summary
A university is in need of a Remote Online Astronomy Adjunct Faculty Member.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching assigned courses in field of expertise and maintaining current knowledge in the discipline
- Grading assignments within the time limits set by the University Term Grading Schedule
- Providing academic assistance and motivation to students throughout the entire period of the course
Position Requirements Include:
- Successfully complete at least one professional development activity (workshop, seminar, and/or conference)
- A master’s degree is required with a minimum of 18 credit hours in field of study
- Previous experience with Blackboard Course Management platform preferred
