Job Summary
Act as instructor for 100% courses concerned with the social causes and consequences of health and illness. Major areas of investigation include the social facets of health and disease, the social behavior of healthcare personnel and people who utilize healthcare and the social functions of health organizations and healthcare delivery systems.
Require a masters degree or higher in sociology or a masters degree or higher in a related behavioral sciences field with at least 18 graduate credit hours of coursework in sociology. Must demonstrate experience or education specifically related to Medical Sociology.
