Job Summary

A video game company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Online Programming Engineer in Austin.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing video games' online features, frameworks, optimizing online performance, and developing custom services deployed to the cloud
• Preparing games for launch and supporting once live
• Integrating backend game services into game client and servers

Position Requirements Include:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in developing and optimizing C++, C#, Java and Python code
• Experience with online frameworks, services and network optimization
• Experience as part of a team that has shipped an online game
• Experience having shipped two titles as an online engineer or equivalent for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox360, PC or Mac
• Knowledge of C#, Javascript (Angular), Webservices, RESTful APIs, (e.g. Perforce, Git, Subversion)
