Job Summary

Leading a small OPEB department, the remote OPEB Actuary will manage GASB 74 & 75 valuations, communicate with public plan clients, and perform ProVal and Excel programming while enjoying an excellent work-life balance.

Key responsibilities
  • Sign and oversee GASB 74 & 75 valuations, including accounting reports and liability determination
  • Communicate effectively with public plan clients ranging from 10 to 5,000 participants
  • Utilize ProVal and Excel programming for various actuarial tasks
Required qualifications
  • ASA, FSA, or EA designation
  • 5+ years of experience in OPEB actuarial work
  • Experience signing GASB valuations
  • Familiarity with ProVal and Excel programming
