Job Summary

An open source software company is filling a position for a Remote Open Source Channel Sales Account Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing emerging networking solutions for next-generation platforms
  • Participating in, leading, and creating upstream networking project communities
  • Collaborating with product engineering teams on guiding features into the portfolio of offerings

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of significant software development experience
  • Experience using several programming languages like Python, Go, and C or C++
  • Deep knowledge of network switching and routing protocols
  • Experience contributing to or participating in open source projects
  • Experience with network functions virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN)
