Job Summary
A technology company is seeking a Remote Open Source Support Support Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing common questions, submit relevant issues on GitHub
- Managing and answering questions and concerns on slack during working hours
- Understanding the use cases and tools involved to provide support to requests
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Participate in relevant user and contributor meetings/events
- Strong people skills in terms of listening non-judgmentally to user questions and frustrations
- Software development experience to fix bugs and review PRs
- Ability and desire to reach out to others in the company and community for help
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
