Job Summary
A financial services provider is in need of a Remote Operational Risk Management Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Participating in the development of a robust TIO operational risk management strategy and framework
- Managing the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of operational risk
- Defining risk and controls standards and where necessary helping improve existing risk and controls methods
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 8-12 years of experience in financial services with a strong understanding of Operational Risk
- Experience with using risk management frameworks and techniques, including risk identification and assessments methods
- Strong problem solving and ability to drive consensus for risk management decision making
- Strong focus on creating high quality deliverables
- All other requirements necessary for this position
