Job Summary

A computer software solutions company has an open position for a Remote Operations and Maintenance Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying software in accordance with industry best practices
  • Performing alpha and beta testing, maintenance, and software integrations for existing system
  • Coordinating OS upgrades, patches, fixes, and testing with data center staff

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must have a BA/BS at minimum and able to obtain public trust clearance
  • Must have 7+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Windows, Linux, and z/OS operating systems, VMware Tanzu (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), Cold Fusion
  • Docker, Open Shift, Jenkins (CI/CD Pipeline), and understanding of Linux system maintenance
  • Knowledge of Nexus, EKS and NFS
