Job Summary

A nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the wrongful detention and deportation of asylum seekers needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Operations and Membership Associate.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Building tools that work for 100,000+ asylum-seeking members
• Being able to work with prototype applications in several environments and languages
• Being able to write clean, testable code

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Be a highly skilled recent graduate or an individual with multiple years of full-time professional experience
• Have a commitment to putting member accessibility first
• Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python
• Have familiarity with best practices around code review, testing, and documentation
• Have an interest in building or maintaining useful applications involving Twilio, Facebook, Whatsapp, GSuite, and/or CRMs
• Have the ability to adapt to change and be flexible, balancing multiple projects and deadlines at once
