Job Summary
An employer-based health service provider is in need of a Remote Operations Support Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Hiring or assigning an internal Collaborating Physician for all Advanced Providers
- Ensuring timely completion and submission of appropriate CPA documentation to state boards for new and revised agreements
- Processing and releasing all patient medical records requested by a third party or by clinic in accordance with HIPAA
Position Requirements Include:
- Associate's degree
- Experience working with confidential information and/or in a highly regulated environment
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- 2+ years' experience working in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations and laws
- Demonstrated general understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and other commercial insurance plans
