Remote Ophthalmic Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to work remotely from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct subjective remote refractions for patients, ensuring precision and adherence to clinical standards
• Guide patients through the exam process and provide accurate data to Doctors of Optometry
• Participate in feedback sessions and achieve required exam productivity goals

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications may be considered
• At least 1+ years of experience performing subjective refractions or in a similar technician role
• Experience in remote healthcare settings or telemedicine is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and video conferencing tools
• Ability to work every Saturday as a mandatory workday
