A software company is in need of a Remote Oracle Database Administrator in Austin.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing database migrations, upgrades and structure migrations from premise database to AWS
  • Coordinating and participating in database stress testing and making recommendations for improvements
  • Developing and maintaining database standards that fit with standard development processes

Position Requirements Include:

  • Oracle; MySQL; MongoDB; Amazon Web Services RDS
  • Advanced Oracle Database 11g/19c administration skills and experience
  • Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Oracle database PL/SQL and query performance tuning skills
  • Ability to perform physical database design changes according to requirements
  • Ability to run transaction access path analysis with application developers
