Job Summary
A provider of technology-enabled coding services is seeking a Remote Orthopedic EM and Surgery Quality Assurance Medical Coding Specialtist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Provide high quality ICD-10, E/M, procedure and surgery coding for orthopedic specialist groups
- Provide education to providers related to coding
- Act as a resource for the billing team
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Current CPC, CCS, or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
- At least 5 years of active E/M and Orthopedic surgery coding experience
- At least 5 years of active E/M and surgery coding experience in Orthopedics
- Must provide own computer with minimum requirements
- Extensive knowledge of CMS and CPT regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding and billing
