Job Summary

A healthcare solutions company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Orthopedic Surgery Associate Medical Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing medical review for requests to evaluate the medical necessity of services
• Providing timely peer-to-peer discussions with referring physicians
• Supporting the annual review of utilization review criteria

Position Requirements Include:

• Hands-on training provided in the Melbourne, FL office
• Must be an M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license
• Must be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and recognized by the ABMS
• Must have recent practice experience in direct patient care
• Must be familiar with automated processes and computer applications and systems
