Job Summary
A provider of outsourced medical coding services has a current position open for a Remote Outpatient Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Coding for lab and rad outpatients
- Utilizing 3M and Meditech
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to work part-time 20 hours per week, which would include working 8 hours over the weekend
- Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
- Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in Outpatient coding - labs and rads
- Knowledge of using 3M and Meditech
- Ability to complete required training during normal business hours 8AM - 4PM EST up to 2 hours a day
- Access to high speed internet and computer equipment
