Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Outpatient Coder.

Must be able to:

• Maintain current and high quality ICD-10-CM and CPT coding for all Outpatient diagnoses
• Abstract data into any and all appropriate CHRISTUS Health electronic medical record systems
• Verify accurate patient dispositions and physician data

Required Skills:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently in a remote setting, with little supervision
• 2 years of Outpatient coding in an acute care setting
• Certified Coding Specialist
• Certified Coding Associate
