Job Summary

A Catholic, not-for-profit healthcare system is in need of a Remote Outpatient Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments and procedures
• Extract and abstract required information from source documentation
• Work from assigned coding queue, completing and re-assigning accounts correctly

Qualifications for this position include:

• High school Diploma or GED
• 2 years of Outpatient coding in an acute care setting
• Have RHIA, CCS, CPC, CCA, or COC
