Job Summary

A non-profit, faith-based healthcare system is filling a position for a Remote Outpatient Coder I.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Coding and entering diagnostic and procedure codes
  • Coding and abstracting outpatient records

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate competency of outpatient coding guidelines and APC assignment
  • A minimum of 1-3 years coding experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current AHIMA or AAPC credentials
