Job Summary

A not-for-profit healthcare system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Outpatient Coder I.

Must be able to:

• Code and abstract Outpatient records
• Review and analyze documentation present in the medical record
• Assign ICD 10 CM diagnoses and CPT 4 procedures

Skills and Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• analytical ability to interpret data contained in medical records
• Knowledge in CPT and ICD-10-CM classification systems
• Knowledge of APC reimbursement and CPT modifiers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Visual acuity necessary to read and decipher documentation
