A provider of healthcare services has a current position open for a Remote Outpatient Coder II.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Determine accurate assignment of documented diagnoses and procedures
• Review medical records to determine accurate required abstracting elements
• Achieve accuracy and consistency in the selection of diagnoses

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of basic coding course
• AHIMA or AAPC approved credential
• Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone
• Proficient in outpatient diagnosis coding guidelines
