Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Outpatient Coder in South Richardson.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing hospital outpatient medical documentation
• Editing and/or validating the appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-PCS codes
• Performing coding across multiple locations

Required Skills:

• Must report to the Richardson, Texas office as needed (onboarding, training, department meetings, etc)
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Outpatient hospital coding required
• Meditech experience required
• Microsoft Office (Word, One Note, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Comprehensive understanding of UHDDS guidelines, CCI Edits, Coding Clinic, etc
