Job Summary
A hospital network is in need of a Remote Outpatient Coding Compliance Auditor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing programs for coding compliance monitoring
- Analyzing and interpreting medical information in the medical record
- Achieving productivity and quality standards as established by management.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and CPC, CCS or equivalent certification required
- Expert knowledge of ICD10, CPT and HCPCS
- 3-years' experience working in a hospital or physician's office as a medical coder/auditor
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Epic software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
