Job Summary
A healthcare information solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Outpatient ED Medical Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Undertaking special projects and other duties as assigned
- Performing coding
- Reviewing clinical documentation and diagnostic results
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Some work related travel may be required
- Understands and adheres to all requirements in the Corporate Compliance Program
- Willingness to be specialized in outpatient ED acute care coding
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of acute care outpatient coding experience
- Must be AHIMA certified and hold one or more of the following certifications: CCS, RHIT, RHIA, COC
