Remote Outpatient Medical Coder

Job Summary

A health information management service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Outpatient Medical Coder.

Must be able to:

• Accurately code patient records
• Comply with AHIMA Code of Ethics and Standards of Ethical Coding, Coding Clinic Guidelines
• Maintain knowledge of current information related to third party reimbursement regulations

Required Skills:

• Must have one of the following certifications: CCS, CPC, CPC-H
• Minimum two years of documented coding experience
• Able to pass a pre-employment assessment
• Attend continuing education classes to maintain credentials
