Job Summary
A healthcare provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Outpatient Medical Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviews physician documentation & coding for appropriateness & accuracy
- Complies with system-wide coding practices
- Maintains query communication with providers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of three years of Outpatient (OP) coding experience
- Academic Medical Center/Trauma Center experience
- Proficiency coding Same-Day Surgery/SDS and Observations
- Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations
