Job Summary
A non-profit health care company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Outpatient Medical Coder in Milwaukee.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review all documentation in the patient record to identify all relevant diagnoses and procedures for coding accuracy
- Maintain a productivity rate of 100% or more on a monthly basis and quality rate of 95% or higher
- Code diagnoses and procedures utilizing the 3M360 encoding system and has knowledge in EPIC Chart Production
Qualifications for this position include:
- Advanced knowledge of pharmacology indications for drug usage and related adverse reactions
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pathophysiology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Expert knowledge and experience in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems
- Excellent communication and reading comprehension skills
