Job Summary

A behavioral health services company is in need of a Remote Outpatient Patient Services Representative in Carlsbad.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Processing of initial and ongoing referrals
• Obtaining and verifying patient demographic and insurance information
• Obtaining necessary authorizations, referrals, or pre-certification

Position Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-4+ years in medical billing and referrals, insurance coverage and benefit verification
• 3-4+ years in insurance authorizations processes
• Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO experience
• Out of network and carve outs commercial insurances experience
• Experience in working with and committed to RCM Dept goals
