Job Summary
A for-profit health care organization that owns and operates hospitals and surgery centers needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Outpatient Service Coordinator in Augusta.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Contacting patients via telephone in a timely and professional manner based on referrals received from Physician office(s)
- Scheduling patients for the services ordered through the Meditech scheduling module
- Selecting accurate insurance carrier plans and informs the patient or physician office staff of out of network carriers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Professional, courteous telephone manners
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues
