Job Summary

A healthcare revenue cycle management company has a current position open for a Remote PAS Utilization Review Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Abstract data from a variety of medical records
  • Perform initial admission and continued stay reviews
  • Complete and maintain annual compliance and annual HIPAA training

Position Requirements Include:

  • At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience (practice)
  • At least 2 years of recent hospital-based Utilization or Case Management experience
  • Must be a current Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of current Medicare rules and regulations related to Utilization Review
  • Experience with InterQual
