Job Summary
A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Patent Counsel in Des Moines.
Must be able to:
- Develop strategies to identify attractive intellectual property based on input from company leadership
- Review and clear new and modified products from a patent infringement perspective
- Draft and prosecute patent applications
Position Requirements Include:
- Onsite 3 days a week
- Member of at least one state bar and admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
- Deep experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- BS/BA or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering and JD Degree from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated strong leadership and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated broad business orientation and successful ability to partner legal skills
