Job Summary

A biopharmaceutical company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Patient Access Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Overseeing the vetting of closed-door and retail community pharmacies
• Providing training and education on payer-specific coverage policies and documentation requirements
• Communicating regularly to management, both corporate and field-based

Required Skills:

• BS/BA degree in related field
• 15+ years of life science experience
• 5+ years needs to be in specialty pharmacy/market access and 5 years leading a team within commercial
• Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers

• Ability to coach, lead and motivate a field team

• Strong understanding of the prescription adjudication process
