Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Patient Access Representative.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Obtaining current patient information for established and new patients
- Accurately entering/updating patient information in scheduling system
- Identifying payer source and verifying insurance eligibility
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year experience in contact center or healthcare is required 1.5 years of experience
- Proven understanding of Microsoft operating systems required
- Typing speed of a minimum of 25 wpm
- High speed DSL, fiber, or cable internet service is required for our remote workforce
- Good communication skills with the ability to provide great customer service
