Job Summary

A company that provides and promotes effective, culturally proficient, high quality primary and preventive health, behavioral health, and dental care services has a current position open for a Remote Patient Access Representative in Burlington.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Answer incoming telephone calls through multiple line system in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform an accurate search for the patient in the database, thus reducing the number of duplicate patient records in EMR system
• Obtain all appropriate demographic and financial coverage for the patient and entering the data into the Registration Database

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Associates degree
• Familiar with medical terminology
• At least 2 years experience in an ambulatory care physician/dental practice with previous scheduling and registration experience
• EMR experience
• Strong computer skills (MS Office applications)
• Typing Skills a must
