Job Summary
A company that provides and promotes effective, culturally proficient, high quality primary and preventive health, behavioral health, and dental care services has a current position open for a Remote Patient Access Representative in Burlington.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Answer incoming telephone calls through multiple line system in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform an accurate search for the patient in the database, thus reducing the number of duplicate patient records in EMR system
- Obtain all appropriate demographic and financial coverage for the patient and entering the data into the Registration Database
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associates degree
- Familiar with medical terminology
- At least 2 years experience in an ambulatory care physician/dental practice with previous scheduling and registration experience
- EMR experience
- Strong computer skills (MS Office applications)
- Typing Skills a must
