Job Summary
A non-profit health care system has an open position for a Remote Patient Access Services Pre-Services Representative.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Following up on all scheduled encounters
- Ensuring appropriate insurance authorizations are properly pre-registered
- Calculating and collecting patient responsibility
Required Skills:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Hospital Administration or 2 years equivalent work experience
- Understanding of the impact financial counseling has on Revenue Cycle
- Demonstrated ability to use PC based office productivity tools
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Understanding of insurance guidelines for scheduled services
- General computer skills necessary to work effectively
