Remote Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Patient Account Representative to manage healthcare revenue cycle tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on claim submissions and review remittances for insurance collections
• Interact with various stakeholders including insurance plans, patients, and team members
• Conduct account activities on uncollected balances and identify billing or coding issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of Hospital AR collections experience with commercial and contracted payors
• Strong experience with payor websites
• Understanding of EOBs and hospital billing form requirements (UB04 and HCFA 1500)
• Computer knowledge, especially with Excel
