Remote Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative remote for EMS Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate billing and account collections, including obtaining necessary documentation and entering data into the database
• Identifies and resolves denied claims, ensuring timely payment by escalating accounts as necessary
• Prepares and maintains billing reports and interacts with various departments to assist with customer service inquiries

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in billing, collections, registration, or a related hospital/office environment
• One year of Epic system experience is highly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access)
• Fast and accurate data entry skills are essential
