Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Patient Accounting Customer Care Rep I in San Antonio.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering inbound customer service calls and making some outbound follow up calls
- Ascertaining the reason for the call and assisting the caller with their questions
- Assisting with inbound faxes to identify issues
Position Requirements Include:
- High school education or the equivalent
- 1 – 2 years prior experience in an inbound call center and/or customer service environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Professional and calming tone of voice
- Ability to function effectively under stress of conflicting demands
- Ability to interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts
