Job Summary
A global healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Patient Care Coordinator .
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Communicating with providers, patients, and pharmacy staff to obtain necessary clinical documentation, denial letters, and appeal status
- Utilizing of internal processing systems for record keeping and tracking of determinations
- Communicating with payors to obtain timely decisions on appeals
Position Requirements Include:
- High school diploma / GED or higher
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in state of residence (or ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment)
- 3+ months of experience working with internal software (IRIS, PAS, Navigator, etc.)
- Intermediate computer skills (or better) in Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel (general navigation, data entry and sorting data in columns), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar
